...blogging on the web. I feel so new millenium :)
Or is it old hat now to talk about the 'new millenium'?
So lets see how we all go. Will we all triumph over the suspicious new technologies, or do we become overwhelmed and float off into the darkness of the world wide web.
Let the adventure begin.

Hi Derek,
Glad to have you aboard- what Science fiction authors? I'm a bit of a sci- fi fanatic.....usually something I don't admit to straight away...Anyway- hope you find something useful in the program.
Enjoy
Leslie
Hey Leslie,
Well, Neil Gaiman is my top author, although technically he's not really a science fiction writer. More of a fantasy-grounded-in-the-real-world writer.
Other favs include Lois McMaster Bujold (Miles Vorkosigan series), Julian May (Saga of the Exiles), Jim Butcher (Harry Dresden series).
At the moment I'm reading 'The Line of the Polity' by Neal Asher. Not quite sure if I like him as a writer, he does good stuff but his style doesn't hook me in.
How about you??
Derek.
Aaaaahhhhh- another Miles fan!!!! Do you know how few and far between we are? McMaster Bujold is a goddess for giving me Miles. I also really like Julian May- thought the Exiles series was very innovative at the time. BTW-Have you seen the Dresden Files tv show? I like some of the more classic authors such as Wyndham (probably my fave after LMB)and Norton, and of course Asimov. Do you know, I have never read Gaiman? I've been told I must read Snowcrash (is that him?).
Also- I have the exact Avebury photo (that stone and all) which I should post!
